Renting your own private boat for the day is one of the more fun, adventurous, and exciting days you’ll have when visiting these islands. It gives you the option to explore all the islands you’ve been dying to see, from Anegada, way up in the east of the BVI, to Culebra, down west in the Spanish Islands, there are so many options. But with the rising BVI customs fees, now reaching as far up to $65-$70 per person, and USVI fees increasing to enter back into our own waters, sometimes its nice to just keep it local. Explore all the beautiful beaches, fantastic snorkeling, thrilling rock jumps, dark caves, and everything else that St. Thomas, St. John, and the number of surrounding Cays have to offer.
If you’ve experienced a boat trip before and always find yourself in the British waters, maybe it’s time to change it up a little, save some money on the trip, and keep it local!
